AS Hours of work
Although your work experience is part of your education, remember that you are a student first. You can work up to 18 hours per week (Sunday to Saturday)
An exception can happen occasionally and will need to be approved by your supervisor and the manager of your area. Under any circumstances, you should exceed 8 hours of work per day or 40 hours of work per week.

Rest/Meal Period (always check with your supervisor)
For each work period of 3 continuous hours or more, you may be granted one paid 15-minute rest period , not to exceed two rest periods per day.
Any work period of 5 continuous hours or more shall provide for an unpaid meal period of at least 30 minutes.
